Discovering Southend – A Journey of Learning and Connection!

This year, our ESOL learners enjoyed another exciting cultural learning journey across Southend, visiting some of the city’s wonderful museums and heritage locations.

Thanks to the support of Southend Museums ums, our learners had the opportunity to explore the Planetarium, Beecroft art gallery, Central Museum, and Prittlewell Priory. These visits gave them the chance to learn about local history, discover new places, and practise their English in a real-life setting.

The trips helped learners build confidence, make connections, and feel more part of the Southend community.

We would like to say a big thank you to the fantastic team at Southend Museums for sharing their knowledge and making every visit welcoming and enjoyable. We also appreciate the hard work of our ESOL teachers who supported learners throughout this experience.
