🎉 Family Fun Day at Eastgate Shopping Centre 🎨📚

 What a pleasure it was to attend the Family Fun Day on Saturday 14th February 2026, held at Eastgate Shopping Centre. The centre was buzzing with creativity as crafts, storytelling, and theatre came together for families across Basildon. The free event unveiled a brand-new public art piece, offered a fantastic storytelling workshop for children, and showcased an original theatre performance by a talented local drama group 👏✨ It was also very nice to meet and connect with more local charities, all doing amazing work in the community 💙

We were especially happy to see the joy on everyone’s faces , and a huge congratulations to Alisia, aged 9, who was chosen as the winner of the colouring competition 🖍️🏆 So well deserved! Thank you to everyone who came along and made the day so special. What a wonderful celebration of creativity, community, and togetherness 🌟
