Our CEO, Ilda Stafa, was honoured to be invited to the High Sheriff of Essex' Summer Reception at Hyde Hall. Ilda also met with the Worshipful the Mayor of Southend-on-Sea, Cllr Kevin Robinson and his wife, the Mayoress. These events are important to us a they allow us to spread the word about the important work that we do, and garner more support for our current and future projects.

WELLBEING THURSDAYS

We continue to co-host an weekly event with Wellbeing Garon Park each Thursday from 6pm to 8pm. It is a lovely opportunity for Ukrainian refugees and their hosts to meet others and relax. Dinner is provided and we've enjoyed trying some traditional Ukrainian dishes. Most weeks, there is also a wellbeing activity taking place during the evening (yoga, hand-massage).
