A MESSAGE FROM ILDA

As usual the last three months have been very busy for us as you will have read above. I am taking the opportunity to specifically mention our biggest event held on 8 March 2023, International Women's Day. Every year this event is growing in numbers and we are fortunate to get more inspirational speakers who share their amazing stories to inspire the audience. I would like to see this event in Southend every year and make it a celebratory tradition. I am inviting you all to make a note in your calendar for next year's International Women's Day event, Friday, 8 March, 2024.

I would like to thank all the volunteers, the staff of Welcome to the UK, support workers and other organisations who have made such a difference to our daily work, over the last three months.
