🇺🇦 Ukrainian Culture Club in May 🌼

Throughout May, our Ukrainian children’s club continued to nurture love for heritage, family and language through creative and heartfelt sessions, from honouring mothers on Mother’s Day and discovering the beauty of traditional Vyshyvanka embroidery, to learning about the rich history and culture of Kyiv, the heart of Ukraine. 💙💛

🎶 Each week, our talented music teacher, Alla, rehearsed a powerful Ukrainian song with the children for a future performance during Refugee Week. Singing helps develop rhythm, breathing, articulation and brings lots of joy! 🎤

We’re proud of every child who takes part.💙

A big part of supporting and encouraging children in their cultural journey is the contribution of our professional team: facilitated by psychologist Natalia and art therapist Olena, and supervised by Inna, who also brings valuable expertise.
