🌟 Volunteer Week Appreciation: Mohamed, Fathima & Ahmad 🌟

Today we’re celebrating three dedicated volunteers whose skills, resilience, and kindness make a real difference in our community: Mohamed, Fathima, and Ahmad. 💛

💻 Mohamed is a former IT instructor from Sri Lanka who supports our one-to-one sessions with calm, clarity, and great care. His wife, Fathima, a talented journalist and social worker, also used to volunteer with us. Now living with their children in temporary accommodation for refugees, both Mohamed and Fathima have given their time and energy to help others facing the same challenges. Their dedication and warmth speak volumes. 🙏

🧑‍💻 Ahmad joined our one-to-one support team in March 2025. Originally from Afghanistan, he brings over a decade of experience in education and administration, along with an MSc in Data Science and Engineering. Having walked the refugee path himself, Ahmad offers not just digital and communication skills, but also real empathy and understanding to those we support. Thoughtful, capable, and generous, he’s a valued part of our team.

To all three of you, thank you for everything you bring, and for standing with others even while facing your own journey. You inspire us every day. 💙
