At Welcome to the UK, we continue to develop our knowledge and practice to better recognise, respond to, and take appropriate action regarding harm, abuse, exploitation, and neglect.

 Domestic Abuse Awareness Training

Delivered by Safe Steps , this session strengthened our understanding of how to support individuals experiencing domestic abuse, recognise warning signs, respond appropriately in crisis situations, and help create safer environments.

 Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Awareness Training

Delivered in partnership with SAMS Partnership and Essex Police, this session provided essential knowledge on identifying exploitation, understanding the National Referral Mechanism (NRM), and reporting concerns safely and effectively.

 We would like to sincerely thank Safe Steps, SAMS, and Essex Police for their expertise and support. We also extend our thanks to all teacher and volunteers who attended and contributed to these important sessions.

 These trainings have further strengthened our commitment to supporting and protecting our community.
